What causes swirls and scratches
Most swirls come from washing — automatic car washes, dirty sponges, and wiping paint when it's dusty all drag fine grit across the surface. Over time you get thousands of tiny scratches that scatter light and make the paint look dull and hazy.
What paint correction actually is
Paint correction is a careful, multi-stage machine polishing process. Using a polishing machine and progressively finer compounds, we remove a microscopic amount of clear coat to level out the scratches — so light reflects cleanly again and the paint looks deep and glossy.

What it can and can't fix
Correction removes the vast majority of swirls and light-to-moderate scratches. Very deep scratches — ones you can catch a fingernail in, that have gone through the clear coat — can be greatly improved but not always fully removed. We measure your paint thickness and work safely; we'll always tell you honestly what's achievable before we start.
Correction is the "before" step to any coating. Sealing corrected paint under a ceramic coating locks that flawless finish in for years.
Protect it afterwards
Freshly corrected paint looks incredible, but it's unprotected. That's why correction and ceramic coating go hand in hand — the correction reveals the gloss, and the coating keeps it that way.
